Org Visible vs Private Reports
Every user can create Private reports to track and manage content tailored to their needs. Private reports are only visible to the report owner and any editors they add.
Organization Admins or Managers can create Org Visible reports, accessible to everyone in the organization. These reports provide curated views that support organizational goals and enhance collaboration.
Changing Visibility
Report owners can toggle visibility in two places:
- Reports listing page - Click the visibility badge next to your report to toggle between Private and Org Visible
- Report detail page - Use the Org Visible / Private toggle buttons next to the report title
Non-owners see a read-only badge indicating the report's visibility status.
How to Edit a Report
Editing Report Configuration
Click the settings gear icon at the top right of the report to modify which applications and content types are included.
Inline Metadata Editing
Click the Edit button (pencil icon) at the top of the report to enable inline editing mode. When active, the button displays "Editing" with an orange background. Click a row in the data grid to edit the metadata for that application directly within the report.
Click the button again to return to read-only mode.
How to Add Report Editors
Report owners can add editors and transfer ownership:
- Click the Add Editors button on the report detail page
- Use the search dropdown to find and select users from your organization
- Click Add to grant them editor access
Managing Editors
In the editors modal, the report owner can:
- Remove an editor from the report
- Transfer Ownership to an editor, making them the new report owner
Info
Transferring ownership makes the selected editor the new owner. If you are not an Org Admin, you will lose owner-level controls after the transfer.
App Groups and Content Groups
App and Content Groups are dynamic, which means if you include an App Group in your Report and that group's criteria changes, your Report will update automatically.
- App Groups are based on content types set as filters (choices and tree choices)
- Content Groups are based on sections
Info
App and Content Groups use content types that are set as filters. Only choices and tree choices content types can be used as filters.
Exporting Reports
Click the download icon at the top of the report to export the current report data as a CSV file. The export includes all visible applications and their content as displayed in the report grid.
